The winning trophy, we were asked to put a spin on their trophy from a previous year, featuring a bat wrapped in barbed wire attached to a piece of wood with a descriptive plate. You may recognize this iconic bat from the show The Walking Dead.
We wrapped a wooden bat in barbed wire ourselves, then splatter painted it to make it appear bloody. The plate attached above the bat was created using a process called sublimation – a method of printing that uses heat to transfer ink to another surface.

The runner-up (or runn-errr up) received a plaque made with a wooden back and a piece of acrylic attached with stand-off screws. The wooden back was stained to give it the aged look you see below, and both pieces were also UV printed.Continue reading
