UV PRINTING

UV printing is a unique method of digital printing utilizing ultraviolet (UV) light. The light drys or cures the ink, adhesives, or coatings almost as soon as it has hit the material. We can print on a diverse range of materials – as long as it fits in the printer, it can print on almost anything. This method is perfect for name tags, awards, gifts, and much more!

SUBLIMATION

Sublimation uses your artwork and a heat press to bond the image onto a variety of materials, badges, clothing, and items. The artwork is printed onto a transfer paper and pressed at 400 degrees to start a transfer process using sublimation. Once the image transfers, the colors are vibrant and precise. The sublimation process is our most durable type of printing, as it’s not prone to scratching or marring since the image is now permanently bonded to the material. It’s quickly becoming our more popular choice for tags as the tags are radiant and eye-catching.

ROTARY ENGRAVING

Rotary engraving uses a machine that cuts into the material with a spinning cutter or spindle. It can be used on plastics and metal and creates quite a sophisticated look on our tags. Our engravers insert each badge onto the ‘jig’ which holds the badge in place. The depth and size of the cutter will be adjusted accordingly to get the look you want. A deep cut will look bold, and a shallower cut will look lighter. These are one of our oldest styles of tags, but the look is timeless!

LASER ENGRAVING

Our laser engraver burns and cuts material using laser light. It’s purpose is to cut materials such as wood, plastic, and metals into various shapes, allowing us to create unique designs. We also use it to engrave the same materials, great for awards and personalized gifts! If you’d like your engraved name tag to use a specific font, we use the laser engraver to achieve that. We set the depth and intensity of the laser to achieve different looks that best match each material.
